We Were MIA
I'm back!
It has been a quiet few months here at East West, and it is time for us to explain and get back to what we do best.
First off, I thank all of our readers for enduring our silence over the last two months. The magazine has gone through a bit of restructuring and during the process, we felt it was best to take a step back and assess. We needed a clear picture of what was to be before we could fill you in. So thank you for your patience.
But we are back now and ready for an exciting 2008! The East West brand originated as a Web site back in May 2003....yes, it's our fifth year of bringing you a seamless fusion of culture, food, art and everyday life. Can you believe that? Five! And in a time when Asian media and the market overall continues to struggle, we only had one hiatus, only missed one issue, in five years! Kudos to us. :-)
The April/May issue is coming soon and there will still be 6 issues this year. We are planning something new for over the holidays. So stayed tuned. Oh and yes, the 5th annual Face contest is almost here. Stay tuned next week for more details. But I can say, we'll start taking entries March 1st. So get your photo on and get ready. Good luck.
